Guilford Center, CT Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)
Any Company providing Radiography services will need a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). The RSO will oversee all codes and regulations regarding the storage and use of category 2 material. The RSO will oversee all daily activities by the crews. Making sure they are performing the work safely and using all safety devices. Ir-192 is what Integrity Testlabs uses the most to perform radiography. We use QSA Global as our service provider of source and equipment. The D/S-880 has been a trusted workhorse for ITL techs out in the field. ITL is still using source projectors that are over 20 years old.
API 570
The American Petroleum Institute (API) 570 is a in-service inspection code. Designed for the natural gas, chemical and oil refineries piping systems to prevent failures before they happen. This code covers inspection, rating, repair, and alteration procedures for applicable piping systems. This code applies to metallic and fiberglass-reinforced plastic piping systems, also pressure-relieving devices associated with the systems. Inspectors are tasked with ensuring compliance with this code is followed. Integrity Testlabs has in-house and contract API 570’s to cover any needs that fall under the API 570.

Guilford Center, CT American Welding Society (AWS)
Founded in 1919 the American Welding Society (AWS) is a nonprofit organization that is made up of members and panels of members. They are yearly contributing to advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes worldwide, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying. Many well-known certifications come from AWS. The CWI or Certified Welding Inspector is one of them. Integrity Testlabs has in house and contract CWI qualified workers to meet the need of any project.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWT) in Guilford Center, CT
Many jobsites ranging from pipelines, fabrication shops, bridges and structural steel fabricators need or require a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to help run their quality program, certify welders, perform visual inspections on fit-ups, root passes and final inspections of completed welds. CWIs come from different backgrounds, some have welding experience only, Some have inspection experience only and some have an engineering degree. Guilford Center Drone Inspection
Using drones is quickly becoming a common inspection method. The biggest attraction is offering a safe way to inspect confined spaces and inspected areas high in the air. With todays advanced cameras they are capable of doing a very good visual inspection. Some drones offer infrared capabilities. This allows the operator to look for hot or cold spots on equipment, structures or solar panels. Smaller drones make for good options to investigate or inspect confined spaces. Larger drones are capable of using or deploying Ultrasonics to perform thickness readings on hard to reach places. To use a drone for commercial purposes the operator must have a FAA license.
